The Nova Center for the Performing Arts is holding auditions for the classic broadway musical, Once Upon a Mattress.
Billings, MT-NOVA Center for the Performing Arts will be holding auditions for their upcoming musical Once Upon a Mattress, a musical by Dean Fuller, Jay Thompson, and Marshall Barer. Based on the fairy tale The Princess and the Pea, this zany show tells the story of Prince Dauntless and his search for the perfect princess, and along comes Princess Winnifred aka Fred. With music and laughs, this fun musical will please the entire family. Once Upon a Mattress will be directed by Ben Bishop.
Auditions will take place on February 22 & 23 at 4:00 p.m. at NOVA Center for the Performing Arts. Auditions are open for people ages 16+ and they should prepare 16 measures of a song not from the show. Auditioners can use a backing track or provide accompaniment.
Performances will be April 25, 26, & 27* and May 2, 3, 4* at NOVA (7:30 P.M. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2:00 P.M. on Sundays). Tickets are $22 for adults, $18 for seniors and military, and $12 for students.
