14th Annual Northern Rockies Snow & Avalanche Workshop to Take Place in Whitefish, Montana

Whitefish, MT (Oct. 28, 2024)—The Flathead Avalanche Center will host the 14th Annual Northern Rockies Snow & Avalanche Workshop (NRSAW) on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center. This highly anticipated event is the premier gathering for winter enthusiasts, professionals, and anyone interested in avalanche safety and education across the Northern Rockies.

The workshop offers a full day of engaging presentations and educational opportunities featuring seven sessions led by renowned experts in snow science, avalanches, human factors, and winter sports. From seasoned backcountry pros to those new to the snow, NRSAW provides valuable insights for all experience levels. Attendees will have the chance to learn from some of the top minds in the industry, discover the latest research, and gain skills to stay safe this winter.

This year’s event promises more than educational value—it celebrates the winter community. In addition to the expert talks, participants can enjoy booths from the 2024/2025 sponsors, showcasing the latest gear, innovations, and resources for winter sports enthusiasts.
